THERMITE COMPOSITION - COMMERCIAL BLEND

High quality thermic composition specially blended to produce molten slag alloys and extreme heat in excess of 4500º F to weld metals together or cut through it like a cutting torch. The military used thermite to destroy equipment, documents and other incendiary uses as well as remote welding. THERMIC IGNITION COMPOSITION - HIGH EXOTHERMIC

Modified with a thermoplastic resin, this composition is moistened with denatured alcohol and pressed into pellets approx. 6-7 grams each or pressed into a prime composition (not supplied) for easy ignition and placed on top of (into) thermite or other difficult to ignite compositions. Upon ignition, combustion develops extreme exothermic, molten alloy slags and an ash that envelops/covers the reaction keeping the heat where it belongs - at the reaction zone! Very easy to use and inexpensive. One pound will make over 70 6-7 gram pellets - each one will ignite raw thermite! For those who have no prime comp, the addition of 10% (by weight) of Potassium Nitrate will also reduce the ignition point for simple ignition using matches. Hundreds of used!! FIRST FIRE / PRIME COMPOSITION - THERMIC

For the dozens of you requesting a reliable prime composition without ordering several chemicals to make it, we have tested and added a mixture of ingredients that when combined with an oxidizer (not supplied) will provide a hot first fire reaction to ensure reliable ignition of the main charge. Either Potassium nitrate or Potassium perchlorate may be used with it depending on the type of composition it will be in contact with (compatibility). Add Potassium perchlorate for priming compositions containing Ammonium perchlorate (or compositions requiring higher combustion heat) and Potassium nitrate for others. You will also need 1 qt. of Acetone (not supplied) to make the adhesive solution. The adhesive (Cellulose Acetate) is included - seperately. Comes with instructions. Can no longer be shipped.

DELAY COMPOSITION

Delay compositions are designed to combust slowly yet generate enough heat to initiate a particular reaction within a controlled time span. Typical usage includes delay in rocket motors between propellant burn out and manipulation of the recovery system, in tactical smoke and percussion grenades between fuse ignition and combustion of the smoke or propellant charge, various firework applications and virtually dozens of special effects and theatrical uses. Our delay composition is designed to combust with smoke at an approximate rate of .65 millimeters per second with the addition of 25% (by weight) of Potassium Nitrate (not supplied). Faster combustion rates possible by increasing the oxidizer accordingly (2.20 mm/sec @ 50% ox). Easy to use! Simply mix with Potassium Nitrate, moisten with adhesive solution and press into place. Goes a long way! Comes with instructions. You will need 1 qt. acetone (not supplied) to make the adhesive solution. The adhesive (Cellulose Acetate) is included with the delay mix - separately. ELECTRIC SQUIB AND IGNITER PYROGEN

Make your own electric igniters for a few pennies each using our pyrogen and any number of DC powered heating elements. Simply solder nichrome wire, tinned copper wire or printed igniter "chips" to 22 or 24 gauge twin lead wire, dip in the pyrogen and use. The pyrogen comes in 1/2 oz bottles that you mix a small amount of Acetone to make a thick batter for dipping - enough for 50 to 90 igniters. Comes with instructions. Why pay over $1.00 each for commercial igniters?! We recommend our Firefox Custom Chips (Stock# F515F above) or homemade elements using resistance wire diameters between 35 and 45 awg for best ignition.

ELECTRIC IGNITER PYROGEN - PYROMAG™ MAGNUM

Our Pyromag magnum pyrogen has a higher combustion temp and burns longer (typically 2 to 3 seconds) than other pyrogens and is capable of igniting the most difficult of applications. It should be used with a primer such as ELV or Liquid Element for reliable ignition.

100 PULL STRING FRICTION IGNITERS - MATCHLESS IGNITION SYSTEM

Make foolproof sure fire pull wire igniters for less than 23¢ each! Each kit contains enough materials to make 100 pull wire igniters with fuse barrel! Easily the best value anywhere! Comes with friction mix and ignition cup pyrogen (less oxidizer). Simply mix a very small amount of potassium chlorate into the ignition cup pyrogen and coat cup. Then coat end of wire with friction mix, allow to dry and staple into paper fuse barrel - simple! Only takes a few minutes per dozen. SMOKE COMPOSITION - WHITE COLORS & RODENT CONTROL

Our smoke compositions are the very best available anywhere! They are pre-mixed (except for the oxidizer) so there is no guesswork or experimentation to get them to work as with others offered elsewhere we have seen. They are designed to combust at low temperatures to minimize heat damage and spot fires and they produce huge volumes of richly colored or white smoke! Perfect for signaling/survival, training, movie/stage effects, paramilitary usage, etc. Our rodent control produces smoke and toxic gases to rid burrows of pests ranging from mice to coyotes. They come with instructions for mixing in the oxidizer and device construction tips. The rodent control uses Potassium Nitrate (not supplied) and the white and colors require Potassium Chlorate (not supplied). Oxidizer contents will range from 25-28% by weight in the finished formulation. Don't be fooled by the price - our compositions work!! One pound of mixture goes a long way!

PELLET SMOKE COMPOSITIONS - AERIAL & GROUND USE

Modified with a thermoplastic resin and designed for ease of use without casings, these compositions are easily ignited and burn without flame producing volumes of richly colored smoke. Simply mix the appropriate amount of Potassium Chlorate (not supplied), moisten with denatured alcohol and press into pellets using a pellet pump or star plate or press into a "cookie", score with a knife and break into pieces when dry. Using our pellet pumps, these can be used in 15mm blank guns, 12 gauge shells or 37/38mm grenade launchers for daytime aerial signaling (see tools section for appropriate pump). Also used for ground usage! Low heat/flameless combustion without casing debris greatly reduces chances of spot fires. White compositions are available with 2 different burn rates. All burn durations listed are approximate, based on pellets of 17 grams each (approx. 9/16" thick X 1 3/8" dia w/ fuse core). Excellent special effects use! Comes with instructions.

MILITARY FORMULATION - MODIFIED HC - WHITE SMOKE COMPOSITIONS

A modified HC formulation derived from and army technical design manual, this white smoke formulation produces volumes of heavy, dense white smoke that dissipates slowly and uses Ammonium Perchlorate (instead of the more sensitive Potassium Chlorate) as the combustion oxidizer. Easily ignited without additional priming. Requires approx. 3.0 to 3.5 oz of Ammonium Perchlorate (not supplied) per pound of composition. Moisten with Cellulose Acetate solution (1.5 oz dissolved in 1 qt of Acetone) if you wish to form pellets, screen for granules or mold with a core inside cases.

NINJA SMOKE F/X(tm) - HIGH COMBUSTION SMOKE COMPOSITION

Developed for theatrical special effects use, we have added three unique blends of smoke generating combustibles that evolve rapidly into dense clouds at the touch of most any conventional ignition source - safety or time fuse, hot element wire, electrical match, etc. Just 15-20 grams will produce and instant "puff" of smoke large enough to "disappear" behind! In addition to smoke, the compositions also create a shower of sparks outward from the ignition point to simulate laser weapon hits, electrical shorts or other effects. Can be used loose in mortars or flash cups, in aerial shells, in paper cup sets or tubes or loose on the ground. Comes with illustrated instructions.
