Besides the obvious applications, this fine varnish insulated wire is solderable without removing the varnish, and used by special effects pyrotechnictions to make electric squibs for body/ bullet hits and other applications. The fine wire bends easily to form any shape and is easily concealed in hemlines, wall cracks, etc.. Electric match chips are easily attached by twisting two lengths magnet wire together. The two leads are dipped 1/8" into molten solder to tin them and burn the insulation from the wiree at the same time. The match chip is then soldered to them by tinning the pencil point tip and applying it to the magnet wire contacting the chip. This is repeated on the other side as well. The chip is then dipped in pyrogen or a small explosive slurry for bullet hit/blood bladder activation. Can be reused many times by cutting the fired chip off and replacing it or they may be used as an electric match by cleaning the chip and dipping in Firefox Liquid Element™.
